How to Renew Your Florida Gun License

Is it time to renew your concealed weapons permit? The Division of Licensing will send you notice of your renewal 150 days before your gun license expires. We've detailed the renewal process below to help save you time.

1: Get Started with Online Application Services

Online application assistance can simplify and streamline the process for many Florida gun-related services, including: information on obtaining a new gun license, replacing a lost gun license, as well as gun safety and gun storage. In addition to the free forms and general instructions available from your state department, you will receive a comprehensive checklist & forms packet specific to your needs, fast answers to tough questions and prompt service from a friendly staff.

Division of Licensing Notice

When you receive notice regarding replacing your concealed weapons permit in Florida, it will have instructions on it detailing the process.

Fee

In order to renew your gun license in Florida, the Division of Licensing requires you to pay a $60 fee. This may be paid by check or money order and returned along with the renewal notice.

If your license has not already expired, or you are not under investigation, you may pay the fee for renewing your concealed weapons permit online at www.FreshFromFlorida.com. Choose the "pay online" option and follow the on-screen instructions.

By Mail

Return the renewal notice and fee to the Division of Licensing in order to complete the renewal of your concealed weapons permit. This information is mailed to:
